From January 20 to 21, Ke Bing, Deputy Director of China Agenda 21 Management Center of the Ministry of Science and Technology, and his delegation investigated the progress of Chenzhou's construction of innovation demonstration zone of national sustainable development agenda in Chenzhou City.

The investigation team successively went to Zixing City, Chenzhou High-tech Zone and Suxian District to learn about the soda production of Tsingtao Beer (Chenzhou) Co., Ltd., the industrial development and cold water resource utilization project of Dongjiang Lake Big Data Industrial Park, the construction of cold water resource and sewage intercepting pipe network at Xiaodongjiang No.3 Station, and the first pure LNG fuel powered passenger ship "Jinlongfang" in China, investigated the domestic sewage treatment facilities of farmhouses in Bailang Town, Zixing City, and the sewage treatment plant in Xingning Town, learned about the basic situation of the livestock and poultry scale farm retreat work around the Dongjiang River and the work of the cage retreat work in the Dongjiang River, investigated the sustainable utilization of the nonferrous metal green mine resources of Shizhuyuan Nonferrous Metal Co., Ltd. on the spot, learned about the production and operation of Hualei Photoelectric and Chenzhou Shunhua Fish Industry, learned more about the treatment of heavy metal pollution in Xiangjiang River Basin in the Xihe Beach Park, and held a symposium.

At the symposium, the investigation group listened to the report on the promotion of Chenzhou to build a national sustainable development agenda innovation demonstration zone. Ke Bing said that Chenzhou's work of building a national sustainable development agenda innovation demonstration area centered on the theme of "sustainable utilization of water resources and green development", formed a high ideological consensus, combined with Chenzhou's actual situation, comprehensively promoted the overall layout of "five in one", formed a joint force between the province and the city, and made solid progress in all work.

Ke Bing pointed out that in the next step, we should integrate resources, build a national experimental demonstration system for sustainable development, promote six major actions, improve our position, accurately and solidly promote various work, build a national innovation demonstration area for sustainable development agenda, summarize Chenzhou experience, radiate and promote similar areas, and tell a "Chinese story" of sustainable development.
